Chicken Chowmein 

Serves:  4 



tblsp oil 

1 large onion – sliced 

250g mushrooms – quartered 

Chicken – leftovers or 1 chicken breast per person sliced, or small strips 

Soy sauce – 2 tblsp (more if required) 

Noodles – ready to use or cooked as per packet instructions 







  • Heat oil, fry chicken until browned and cooked through. 
  • Add onion and mushroom and fry until soft 
  • Add cooked noodles and soy sauce and bring back to heat and serve 






Add ½tsp Chinese five spice powder to chicken when frying. 

Add thinly slices red and yellow peppers with onions and ½ cup of Frozen peas.
