Spice Mixes 

These spice mixes will add something special to any BBQ, or meal. A pork shoulder smothered in the BBQ spice mix, cooked slow and served with pineapple salsa, or sliced chicken fried with onions and peppers and a couple of tablespoon of  taco spice served with crisp lettuce in a wrap. Potato wedges sprinkled with Cajun spice and baked in the oven and served with sour cream dip J Mix them in a jam jar and store in a cupboard, they will last for a couple of months. 


1 tblsp garlic powder

2 tblsp ground black pepper

1 tblsp salt 1 tblsp mustard powder

1 tblsp chilli powder (as hot as you can take)

1 tblsp ground cumin

1 tblsp brown sugar

4 tblsp paprika (a mix of sweet and smoked works well)

½ tsp dried oregano



4 tblsp chilli powder

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp chilli flakes

1tsp dried oregano

2 tsp paprika

2 tsp ground cumin

2 tsp salt 2 tsp black pepper

2.5 tsp paprika

1 tsp ground black pepper

1 tsp onion granules

1 tsp cayenne pepper

1.25 dried oregano

1.25 dried thyme

½ tsp chilli flakes



1/4 cup sea salt

4 tsp ground black pepper

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

½ tsp onion powder

½ tsp paprik
